I wanted to express my appreciation for your staff and our experience at Winona Health. My college son went to the Urgent Care and was referred to orthopedics for an unattended broken hand. It was determined that he needed surgery. From his initial visit at Winona Health, it was only a matter of 20 hours before he went into surgery. I live out of state, and traveled to be there for the surgery. My son has a paralyzing fear of medical care/needles so I wanted to be there for him. Our surgery nurse, Aaron [Jensen], was incredible. He treated my son and me with such respect and professionalism. Our follow-up appointments were equally impressive. I traveled back up for my son’s appointment to have his pins removed in the event he would need to be taken into surgery for it. The pins were a bit difficult to navigate at first, but Dr. Serleth, and his PA were absolutely amazing. His nurse was so good helping my son get through his extreme anxiety. Dr. Serleth also engaged in conversation with him and helped calm him. I cannot say enough great things about our time at Winona Heath, Aaron, and Dr. Serleth. We are extremely grateful for the professionalism, kindness, and the wonderful healthcare provided. Stacey Mount Calvary, Wisconsin
